Florent Souchet's trio brings together all his experience as guitarist, leader and composer, developed in projects like Talkin' About John or Quad collective, and through numerous participations as a sideman.
Renowned for both his harmonic awareness and guitar virtuosity, Souchet is influenced by his passion for jazz's king instruments, such as the saxophone, trumpet or piano, drawing inspiration from the Legacy of Wes Montgomery or, more recently, Peter Bernstein.
With Anders Ulrich on the double bass (co-founder of Parallel Records with Souchet) and Guilhem Flouzat on drums, this trio features intelligent and uncompromising compositions, where jazz's nuclear language combines a constant search for new sounds.
